CASA ZANATE

Conceived during the early months of lockdown, Casa Zanate is the result of a close collaboration between Manny Rionda and Esteban Paredes, founder of Estudio Cálido. The studio led the interior design, façade resolution, second-level planning, and overall site supervision.

Inspired by rural architecture and the rich material palette of the Guatemalan highlands, the design translates introspective living into warm, grounded, and highly functional spaces. Built with honest materials, passive strategies, and a quiet dialogue with nature, Casa Zanate seeks not to stand out among the trees—but to belong within them.
