Diacá is one of Guatemala’s most respected and celebrated restaurants, founded by chef Débora Fadul. Her vision honors local ingredients, the producers behind them, and the cultural ritual of gathering around the table.
Estudio Cálido was entrusted with designing a space that could embody that same philosophy—translating it into material, form, and atmosphere. In many ways, our missions align: hers with farmers, ours with artisans. Both rooted in locality, both committed to honoring those who shape our culture through their craft.
Every element of the design was developed using local materials and traditional techniques, celebrating the richness of Guatemala’s landscapes and communities. From the furniture to the finishes, the space evokes a deep sense of place—something that can be felt from the moment you arrive.
